The steps to fill out the application form are given below:

Step 1: Visit the bank website.

step 2: Click on the current openings option on the Careers page.

Step 3: Select the link- Click here for new registration. This will open a new window. 

Step 4: Register yourself. Fill in the details- name, E-mail id, mobile number, and others.

Step 5: After the registration is complete, a provisional user Id and password will be created.

(An Email & SMS indicating the provisional Registration number and Password will also be sent.) 

Step 6: Log in with your credentials

Step 7: Fill in the South-Indian Bank Application Form with correct details and upload the required documents.

Step 8: Click on the Preview option and verify the entire application form.

Step 9: Modify details, if required, and click on complete registration.

Step 10: Pay the application fee via any online payment gateway and submit the application form

Application Fee

Candidates must submit the application fee during the application process. Without payment of the application fee, the form will be considered incomplete.

Documents required for filling up the South Indian Bank PO Application Form

Photograph: (4.5cm × 3.5cm)

• It should be a recent passport size coloured photograph. The photo must be taken against a white background, the candidate looking straight at the camera with a relaxed face.
• If the photo is taken on a sunny day, the sun should be behind you.
• In case a flash has been used, ensure there is no red-eye.
• If you wear glasses, make sure your eyes are clearly visible.
• Caps, hats, and dark glasses are not permissible.
• Religious headwear is allowed, but it should not cover your face.
• Dimensions 200 x 230 pixels
• The size of the file should be between 20kb to 50 kb.

For Signature: 

• The candidate has to sign on white paper with a Black-ink pen.
• Dimensions 140 x 60 pixels
• Size of file: 10kb to 20kb
• Ensure that the size of the scanned image does not exceed 20kb.

For Left Thumb Impression 

• The candidate should put a left thumb impression on white paper with black or blue ink.
• File type: jpg / jpeg
• Dimensions: 240 x 240 pixels in 200 DPI (Preferred for required quality) i.e 3 cm * 3 cm (Width * Height)
• File Size: 20 KB to 50 KB

For Handwritten Declaration 

• The candidate must write the declaration in English clearly on white paper with black ink.
• File type: jpg / jpeg
• Dimensions: 800 x 400 pixels in 200 DPI (Preferred for required quality) i.e 10 cm * 5 cm (Width * Height)
• File Size: 50 KB – 100 KB

The signature, left thumb impression and handwritten declaration should be of the candidate and not by any other person. In case the candidate's signature on the attendance sheet/ Admit card signed during the exam does not match the specimen signature uploaded earlier, the candidate will be disqualified. Signature/Handwritten declaration in capital letters will not be accepted.

For Experience Certificate:

• The Experience certificates having all the experience claimed should be uploaded in a single file.
• The size of the file should not be more than 1 MB.
