Prerequisites for Applying Online

Before applying online, candidates should,

• Scan their signature, photograph, left thumb impression, and declaration. The specifications for these images are provided in STEP 3.
• CAPITAL LETTERS signature will not be accepted
• Keep the necessary details/documents ready to make the online payment.
• Must have a valid personal email ID. This should be maintained till the completion of the recruitment process.

How to Apply for FCI Manager 2022 - Step by Step Process

Following are the detailed steps to be followed while filling out the FCI Manager 2022 Exam online application form.

STEP 1: Application Registration

1. Candidates should click on the link to the online application form available on the official FCI website provided above.
2. To register the application, choose the tab "Click here for New Registration" and enter your Name, Contact details, and Email-id. A Provisional Registration Number and Password will be generated by the system and displayed on the screen. Candidate should note down the Provisional Registration Number and Password. An Email & SMS indicating the Provisional Registration number and Password will also be sent.
3. In case the candidate is unable to complete the application form in one go, he/she can save the data already entered by choosing the "SAVE AND NEXT" tab. Before submission of the online application, candidates are advised to use the "SAVE AND NEXT" facility to verify the details in the online application form and modify the same if required. Visually Impaired candidates should fill out the application form carefully and verify/ get the details verified to ensure that the same are correct before final submission.
4. Candidates are advised to carefully fill and verify the details filled in the online application themselves as no change will be possible/ entertained after clicking the FINAL SUBMIT BUTTON.
5. The Name of the candidate or his /her Father/ Husband etc. should be spelt correctly in the application as it appears in the Certificates/ Mark sheets/Identity proof. Any change/alteration found may disqualify the candidature.
6. Validate your details and Save your application by clicking the "Validate your details" and "Save & Next" buttons.
7. Candidates can proceed to upload Photo & Signature as per the specifications given in the Guidelines for Scanning and Upload of Photograph and Signature detailed under STEP 3.
8. Candidates can proceed to fill in other details of the Application Form.
9. Click on the Preview Tab to preview and verify the entire application form before FINAL SUBMIT.
10. Modify details, if required, and click on ‘FINAL SUBMIT' ONLY after verifying and ensuring that the photograph, signature uploaded and other details filled in by you are correct.
11. Click on the ‘Payment' Tab and proceed with payment.
12. Click on the ‘Submit' button.

STEP 2: Payment of Fees

1. SC/ST/PwBD and Women Candidates – No Fees (Exempted from payment of Application Fee).
2. Candidates except as specified above, applying for the post (Any-One within the zone) – Rs 800 Application Fee {Excluding bank charges but including GST by using Debit Cards (RuPay/Visa/ MasterCard/Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets, UPI by providing information as asked on the screen.

STEP 3: Document Scan and Upload

Before applying online, candidates should scan their:
Photograph (4.5cm × 3.5cm)
Signature (with black ink)
Left thumb impression (on white paper with black or blue ink)

1. Photograph Image: 
Photograph must be a recent passport-style colour picture (4.5cm × 3.5cm)
Dimensions 200 x 230 pixels (preferred)
Size of file should be between 20kb-50 kb

2. Signature Image:
The applicant has to sign on white paper with Black Ink pen.
File type: jpg / jpeg
Dimensions: 140 x 60 pixels (preferred)
File Size: Between 10 KB – 20 KB 

3. Left Thumb Impression:
The applicant has to put his left thumb impression on white paper with black or blue ink.
File type: jpg / jpeg
Dimensions: 240 x 240 pixels in 200 DPI (Preferred for required quality) i.e 3 cm * 3 cm (Width * Height)
File Size: 20 KB – 50 KB

4. A Handwritten Declaration (on white paper with black ink)
File type: jpg / jpeg
Dimensions: 800 x 400 pixels in 200 DPI (Preferred for required quality) i.e 10 cm * 5 cm (Width * Height)
File Size: 50 KB – 100 KB
The text for the handwritten declaration is as follows – 
"I, _______ (Name of the candidate), hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true, and valid. I will present the supporting documents as and when required."

Important Points to Remember during Application Process

• Please note that all the particulars mentioned in the online application including Name of the Candidate, Category, Date of Birth, Address, Mobile Number, Email ID, Centre of Examination, etc. will be considered final and no change/modifications will be allowed after submission of the online application form. Candidates are hence advised to fill in the online application form with the utmost care as no correspondence regarding change of details will be entertained. FCI will not be responsible for any consequences arising out of the furnishing of incorrect and incomplete details in the application or omission to provide the required details in the application form.
• Candidates are requested to ensure that they fulfill the eligibility criteria, on the date of eligibility
• Application Fees/ Intimation Charges can be paid via Online Mode only.
• Please ensure that the image files of the documents to be uploaded i.e. photograph, signature, left thumb impression, and the handwritten declaration are as per the specification given in the advertisement.
• ONLINE REGISTRATION WILL BE COMPLETE ONLY AFTER THE CANDIDATES REGISTER ONLINE (FILL IN THE APPLICATION FORM COMPLETELY) AND REMIT THE REQUISITE APPLICATION FEES/ INTIMATION CHARGES THROUGH ONLINE MODE.
• Admission to the examination will be purely provisional without verification of documents. In the case at any stage, the candidate is found not to fulfill the eligibility criteria/ cannot produce the requisite documents to FCI the candidature of the candidate will stand canceled.
• FCI reserves the right to allot the candidate to any of the centers other than the one he/she has opted for.
• Application printout & e- receipt should be kept with the candidate and should not be sent to the FCI.
