Calculation of Marks using the Answer Key

Candidates can calculate the marks by using the marking scheme. As per the marking scheme, the candidate will be awarded one mark each for the correct answer, whereas 0.25 marks will be deducted for the wrong answer. This can be understood with the help of an example-

Let us assume the candidate gets 100 correct and 20 wrong answers. Marks for correct answers will be 100, and the deduction for the incorrect answers will be 5 marks. So the final score will be 100 minus 5, i.e. 95 marks.
