LIC AAO 2023 Exam Pattern
LIC AAO Exam Pattern: The Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) has released the notification for the recruitment of AAO for 2023. This post is for Assistant Administrative Officers and there are a total of 300 vacancies. LIC released the notification on the 15th of January 2023. The application process for the same opens on 15th January 2023 and will close on 31st January 2023. Aspiring candidates must be aware of the exam pattern so they can make a proper preparation strategy. We have mentioned the detailed exam pattern for the candidates.

The LIC AAO 2023 Exam will be conducted in 3 stages:
- Preliminary Examination
- Main Examination
- Interview

Note- English section paper will be just for qualifying nature the marks obtained would not be considered for ranking or final selection. Candidates equal to 20 times the number of vacancies in each category, subject to availability, will be
shortlisted for the Main examination.

- Descriptive tests of the English Language etc. will be of qualifying nature and the marks in the English Language
will not be counted for ranking. A descriptive paper of only those candidates will be evaluated who qualify in the objective part of
the main Examination.
- Candidate MUST pass each Section separately and should also obtain minimum marks in the aggregate to
qualify for the online examinations (Preliminary and Main) and the interview. The responses (answers) of
individual candidates with other candidates would be analyzed to detect patterns of similarity of right and wrong
answers. If in the analytical procedure adopted in this regard, it is inferred/concluded that the responses have
been shared and scores obtained are not genuine/valid, LIC reserves the right to cancel the candidature of the
concerned candidate and the result of such candidates (disqualified) will be withheld.
- The minimum marks to be obtained in each Section and cut-off marks for each section and in the
aggregate shall be decided by LIC. A descriptive test of the English Language etc. is of a qualifying nature and
marks in this test will not be counted for ranking. The decision of LIC in this regard shall be final and binding
on the candidates. No correspondence will be entertained in this regard.

LIC AAO Interview
Total Marks - 60
Marks obtained in the Main Examination only will be considered for shortlisting for interview and marks obtained in Main Examination + marks obtained in the Interview will be considered for the final merit listing of candidates.
