FCI Assistant Grade 3 Eligibility - Nationality
A candidate shall be:
- a Citizen of India, or
- a subject of Nepal, or
- a subject of Bhutan, or
- a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before the 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
- a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka and East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda and United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire and Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
FCI Assistant Grade 3 Eligibility - Age Limit
The candidates applying for the post must have attained the age of 18 years. The maximum age limit has been given below:
- For AG 3 (General, Accounts, Technical & Depot) - 27 Years
- For AG 3 (Hindi) - 28 Years
The reference date for the calculation of age will be notified in the official notification when released.

Assistant Grade-III (Hindi) | H | *Degree of a recognised University with Hindi as main subject. Proficiency in English specifically for the purpose of translation. Certificate/Diploma course in translation from English to Hindi and vice-versa of at least one year duration from a recognised University/Institution approved by Government.
Given the fact that the major work of Assistant Grade-III (Hindi) would be translation from English to Hindi and vice-versa, possession of Skill for Hindi Typing would also be required. To assess the same, Hindi Typing with speed of 30 words per minute will be tested during the period of probation. Confirmation of probation shall be subject to the candidate qualifying the prescribed Typing Test. |
