ESIC MTS Eligibility Criteria
There are various criteria that are presented by the exam conducting authorities for the ESIC MTS examination. The following are eligibility criteria for ESIC MTS
Age Limit
Between 18 to 25 years as on the closing date for receipt of applications i.e. 15th February 2022.
Relaxation in Age Limit

As per instructions of DoPT, a PWD applicant is entitled to age concession in different combinations subject to the condition of maximum age of 56 years. Further in case of a PWD by virtue of being a ESIC/Govt. Employee, concession to him/her will be admissible either as a ‘person with disability' or as a ESIC/Govt. Employee' whichever may be more beneficial to him/her. |

Nationality
A candidate must be either:
- a citizen of India, or
- a subject of Nepal, or
- a subject of Bhutan, or
- a Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
- a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar ), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (b), (c), (d) and (e) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.
A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary may be admitted to the Examination but the offer of appointment will be given only after the necessary eligibility certificate has been issued to him by the Government of India.
Educational Qualification
To apply for the ESIC MTS recruitment 2022, candidates need to hold a matriculation (10th std.) diploma or an equivalent qualification.
Selection Process for ESIC MTS 2022
There are two stages of written tests in the selection process for ESIC MTS positions. Applicants who pay the application fee and have submitted their applications on time will be allowed to take the written tests.

Phase – I Preliminary Examination is qualifying in nature and marks will not be reckoned for final merit. For each wrong answer, there will be a negative marking of one-fourth of the mark assigned to that question. The candidates will be shortlisted for Phase-II in the ratio of 1:10 i.e. about 10 times the number of vacancies in each category on the basis of their performance in Phase – I Preliminary Examination
