UPPSC RO ARO Cut Off
When an examination is announced, along with maximum obtainable marks and minimum marks to pass the examination are also announced. If you obtain the minimum specified marks, it does not mean that you have qualified in that exam to move to the next stage of the recruitment process. Based on several factors, cut-off percentages/marks are decided. If you obtain at least those cut-off marks, you will qualify to move to the next stage of the process of recruitment.
The cut-off mark is the minimum mark or percentage that a candidate requires for qualifying for the next stage.
In other words, Cut-off marks are the minimum percentages or marks that must be obtained by a candidate so that the candidate can qualify for the next stage of the recruitment process for the post for which UPPSC conducted the examination. Previous year’s cut-offs provide a good idea about upcoming recruitment conducted in the past years.
The UPPSC RO ARO Cut Off Marks are decided based on the average of the combined marks obtained by the candidate who took the examination. Any candidate who sat for the examination and has got marks higher than or equal to the cut-off marks will be declared qualified in that specific examination.
