Along with the official notification, SSC CHSL eligibility is made available. It is one of the most important aspects of the exam that candidates must understand before applying for it. Candidates must meet all of the criteria in order to pass the SSC CHSL exam. The crucial date for age reckoning is fixed as 01-08-2023 in accordance with the
provisions of DoP&T OM No. 140l7 /70/87-Estt.(RR) dated 14-07-1988. Age
limit for the posts is 18-27 years i.e. Candidates born not before 02-08-1996 and
not later than 01-08-2005 are eligible to apply.
Candidates should be aware that the SSC will only accept the Date of Birth as it appears on the Matriculation/Secondary Examination Certificate or an equivalent certificate that is available on the date of submission.
The SSC CHSL age relaxation is permissible according to exam rules. The main points of relaxation on the upper age limit are listed below. The following are the upper age limits for various reserved categories of candidates applying for SSC CHSL 2023 recruitment:

The minimum education qualification required to apply for the exam is another important parameter listed under the SSC CHSL eligibility. Yes, there will be negative mark given for SSC CHSL exam. For every wrong answer 0.05 mark will be deducted.
