Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is an organisation under the Government of India to recruit staff for various posts in the various Ministries and Departments of the Government of India and in Subordinate Offices.

SSC Selection Post Notification
The SSC has released the notification for SSC Selection Post Phase 10 2022 on 12th May 2022. Applications must be submitted by 13th June 2022. Candidates interested in applying should submit their applications before the last submission date.
There will be three separate Computer Based Examinations consisting of Objective Type Multiple Choice questions, for the posts with minimum Educational Qualification of Matriculation, Higher Secondary, and Graduation & above levels. Phase-10 Selection Post 2022 notices have been published on www.ssc.nic.in on 12th May 2022. The online registration period will run from 12th May to 13th June 2022. - There will be negative marking of 0.50 marks for each wrong answer.

Questions will also be designed to test knowledge of current events and of such matters of everyday observation and experience in their scientific aspects as may be expected of an educated person. The test will also include questions relating to
India and its neighbouring countries especially pertaining to Sports, History, Culture, Geography, Economic science, General Polity including Indian Constitution, Scientific Research, etc.
These questions will be such that they do not require a special study of any discipline.

The questions will be designed to test the ability of appropriate use of numbers and number sense of the candidate. The scope of the test will be computation of whole numbers, decimals, fractions, and relationships between numbers, Percentage, Ratio & Proportion, Square roots, Averages, Interest, Profit and Loss, Discount, Partnership Business, Mixture and Alligation, etc.
English Language:
Candidates' ability to understand correct English, his basic comprehension and writing ability, etc. would be tested. The questions in Parts A, B, & D will be of a level commensurate with the essential qualification viz. Graduation and questions in Part C will be of 10th standard level.
SSC Selection Post Eligibility Criteria
Nationality
A candidate must be either:
(a) A citizen of India, or
(b) A subject of Nepal, or
(c) A subject of Bhutan, or
(d) A Tibetan Refugee who came over to India, before the 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
(e) A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

SSC Post Selection Application Process
Application Fees

- Fee payable: Rs. 100/- (Rupees One Hundred only).
- Fee can be paid online through BHIM UPI, Net Banking, by using Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, RuPay Credit or Debit cards or in SBI Branches by generating SBI Challan.
- Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Disabilities (PwD) and Ex-servicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of fee.
Steps To Apply Online
The process of filling online application for the examination consists of two parts:
I. One-time Registration.
II. Filling online Application for the Examination.
Part-I (One-Time Registration):
1. Click on the "Register Now" link provided in the "Login" section on https://ssc.nic.in.
2. One-time Registration process requires filling up the following information:
a. Basic Details
b. Additional Details and Contact Details
c. Uploading of the scanned images of passport size photograph and signature.
3. After filling up the basic details asked you will be required to confirm your mobile number and email ID. On confirmation, your data will be saved and your Registration Number will be displayed on the screen. Your Registration Number and Password will be provided to you on your mobile number and Email ID.
Part-II (Online Application Form)
1. Log in to the online system through your ‘Registration Number' and password.
2. Click the "Apply" link in the "Phase-X/2022/Selection Posts Examination" Section under the "Latest Notifications" tab.
3. Fill up the details asked like, Region name to which the post you are applying belongs to, Post Code to which you are applying for, Post Name and Level of Post is automatically displayed based on the Post Code selected by you, preference for Examination Centers, etc.
4. After filling up the details asked complete your declaration by clicking on "I agree" checkbox and fill up captcha code.
5. Preview and verify the information provided by you and "Submit" the Application.
6. Proceed to make fee payment if you are not exempted from payment of fee.
7. Fee can be paid online through BHIM UPI, Net Banking, by using Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, RuPay Credit or Debit cards or in cash at the SBI Branches by generating SBI Challan.
