How to Calculate SSC CHSL Marks?

To calculate the SSC CHSL marks, candidates can follow the given instructions:

  • Find out the total number of correct and incorrect answers.
  • Each correct question will be awarded 2 marks.
  • For each wrong answer, the 0.5 mark will be deducted from the overall score of the candidate.

Candidates can use the following formula to calculate their SSC CHSL marks:

[Total marks = 2 × number of correct answers - 0.5 × number of incorrect answers]

Steps to Calculate SSC CHSL Cut-Off for Tier 2

Applicants must be aware of how the SSC CHSL cutoff marks are determined beforehand. Even before the outcome is known, you can forecast the outcome. The Commission considers a number of variables when determining the cutoff marks, including the degree of difficulty, the number of candidates who took the exam, and the final score. However, candidates can only depend on the grading system and exam pattern used by the Commission when predicting the cut off.

Due to the subjective nature of the Tier 2 exam, the exam structure differs slightly from that of the Tier 1 exam. So, it is essential for applicants to comprehend the major elements of the Tier 2 exam pattern in order to determine the SSC CHSL Cut off:

  • The question paper consists of objective-type questions that carry a weightage of 405 marks.
  • There will be a total of 135 questions carrying the weightage of 3 marks.
  • There is a negative marking of one mark for every wrong answer.
