SLAT Application Form - Complete details

Symbiosis International University organizes a common admission test for both BBA LLB and BA LLB courses offered by the Symbiosis Law Schools. This test is known as the Symbiosis Law Aptitude Test (SLAT). It is an online computer-based test in which candidates who have cleared class 12 with 45% marks are eligible to appear. The eligible candidates need to know the application procedure in detail for filling out the SLAT Application Form.

Procedure for SLAT Application Form

There are a total of 4 steps in the procedure of filing the SLAT Application form. These are given below as follows-

Registration for SLAT

The process of registration is given as follows -

1. The candidates need to visit the official website of SET.
2. There will be a registration link. Click on the link.
3. The registration form needs to be filled in which the details need to be mentioned like Mobile Number, name,  email ID, preferred test city, and category. A scanned colored photograph also needs to be attached in JPG/JPEG or PNG Format.
4. Click the submit button to complete the Registration for SLAT.

Once registered, then the candidates will get a SET ID and Password on the mobile number as well as the email ID. The candidates need to use this login ID and password for filling up the application form.

Filling up of Application form

The process of filing the application form is given as follows-

The candidates need to log in through the SET ID and password received at the time of registration. After login, they need to open the registration form.

In the application form, the relevant details need to be filled in, such as name, educational qualification, date of birth, communication details, selection of the law program, etc. 

After filling in all the details, check once if there is an error. 

After checking the details, click on the submit option. After submitting, click on the Make my Payment option.

Payment of registration fees

The application fee for the candidates is Rs. 1950. The fees can be submitted in both offline and online modes. The online payment can be made through credit cards, debit cards, or net banking using the payment gateway at the registration portal. If a candidate wants to make an offline payment, they can do so through a demand draft in favor of the Symbiosis Test Secretariat payable at Pune.

Selection of the program and the institute

Once the application form is filled out, the candidates will be required to select the program. The candidate has the choice as they can apply for both BA LLB and BBA LLB. They will have to select the law school as per their choice. There is a total of 4 law schools that will participate in the SLAT. Application for more than one law school can also be made. However, for each law school fee of Rs. 1000 will have to be paid. The participating colleges are SLS Pune, SLS Hyderabad, SLS Noida, and SLS Nagpur.
