NABARD Grade A 2022 Notification - Out with 170 Vacancies

NABARD Grade A 2022 Notification Out

NABARD Grade A 2022 notification has been released now with a total of 170 vacancies for the post of Assistant Manager in Grade A for Rural Development Banking Services (RDBS) (161 vacancies), Rajbhasha Service (7 vacancies), and Protocol & Security Service (2 vacancies). Application registrations start on the 18th of July 2022 and the last day date to register is the 7th of August 2022. 

The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) released the NABARD Recruitment Notification 2021 for Grade A officer and Grade B posts on the 15th of July 2021. A total of 162 vacancies, 155 for NABARD Grade A (Assistant Manager - RDBS & Rajbhasha) and 7 Grade B posts are announced.

NABARD Grade A 2022 Eligibility Criteria

For Assistant Manager in Rural Development Banking Service (RDBS)

Age Limit (as on 1 July 2022)

  • Minimum Age: 21 years
  • Maximum Age: 30 years
    As per the NABARD Grade A Notification 2022, the candidate must be between 21 and 30 years of age. The candidate must have been born not earlier than 02-07-1992 and not later than 01-07-2001 as of 01-07-2022.

Educational Qualification (as on 1 July 2022)

Key Points to Note: 

  •  A candidate applying for Assistant Manager (RDBS) - General cannot apply for another discipline and vice versa. Similarly, candidates applying for Assistant Manager (Rajbhasha) cannot apply for Asst. Manager (RDBS) and vice versa.
  • The candidate can apply only for ONE Post/Discipline of his / her choice. In case of multiple applications across or within disciplines for Grade A (RDBS), only the last application submitted will be considered valid and the fee against all other applications will be forfeited.
  • PWBD candidates applying against Unreserved (UR) posts will not be eligible for relaxation in percentage in Educational Qualification. They may, however, be eligible for relaxation in Age and Fee.
  • The candidate must possess the required educational qualification as of 01-07-2022. The result of the final term/semester/ year examination of the required educational qualification must have been declared on or before 01-07-2022. In other words, candidates whose final year/semester results have been declared after 01-07-2022 are not eligible to apply.

Academic Qualification Discipline-Wise

1. General 

Bachelor's Degree in any subject from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks (SC/ST/PWBD applicants - 55%) in aggregate 

OR 

Post Graduate degree, MBA/PGDM with a minimum of 55% marks (SC/ST/PWBD applicants - 50%) in aggregate 

OR 

CA/ CS/ICWA OR PhD from Institutions recognized by GOI/UGC.

2. Agriculture Engineering 

Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture Engineering with 60% marks (ST/PWBD applicants - 55%) in aggregate

OR

Post graduate degree in Agriculture Engineering with a minimum of 55% marks (ST/PWBD applicants - 50%) in aggregate from a recognised University / Institution.

3. Fisheries

Bachelor's degree in Fisheries Science from a recognized University/Institution with 60% marks (ST/PWBD applicants 55%) in aggregate

OR 

Post-graduate degree in Fisheries with 55% marks (ST/PWBD applicants 50%) in aggregate.

4. Forestry

Bachelor's degree in Forestry from a recognized University/Institution with 60% marks (PWBD applicants - 55%) in aggregate

Postgraduate degree in Forestry with 55% marks (PWBD applicants - 50%) in aggregate.

5. Land Development-Soil Science

Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture / Agriculture (Soil Science/Agronomy) with 60% marks (SC/PWBD applicants - 55%) in aggregate

Post Graduate degree in Agriculture / Agriculture (Soil Science/Agronomy) with a minimum of 55% marks (SC/PWBD applicants - 50%) in aggregate from a recognised University / Institution.

6. Plantation/Horticulture

Bachelor's Degree in Horticulture from any recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks (SC/PWBD applicants - 55%) in aggregate

7. Civil Engineering

8. Environmental Engineering/Sciences

9. Finance

Two years full-time P.G. Diploma in Management (Finance) / Full-time MBA (Finance) degree with 55% (SC/PWBD applicants - 50%) from Institutions / Universities recognized by GoI /UGC with Bachelor's Degree in any discipline. Candidates will be required to submit a certificate from Institution/University regarding specialization in finance

Bachelor of Financial and Investment Analysis with 60% marks (SC/PWBD applicants - 55%) OR

Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized University/Institution with Membership of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI)OR CFA. The Membership of ICAI must have been obtained on or before 01-07-2022

NABARD Grade A 2022 Selection Procedure

The detailed selection process for NABARD Grade-A Officers (RDBS/Rajbhasha) will have 3 phases. Details are as follows -:

Phase 1 – Preliminary Examination (Online Exam) – 200 Marks
Phase 2 – Main Examination will be online and will be a mix of MCQ and descriptive patterns. – 200 Marks
Phase 3 – Interview – 50 marks

Important Pointers to Note for Phase 1 Exam

  1. Qualifying Section - Test of Reasoning, English Language, Computer Knowledge, Quantitative Aptitude, Decision Making.
  2. Merit Section - General Awareness, Eco & Soc. Issues (with focus on Rural India), Agriculture & Rural Development with Emphasis on Rural India.
  3. Shortlisting of the candidates for the Main exam will be based on marks scored in the merit section only.
  4. For every wrong answer marked, 1/4th of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as a penalty in the Phase 1 paper. Cut-offs in Phase 1 may be applied in two stages: (i) On scores in individual tests, (ii) On Total Score

Interview - 50 Marks 

  • The calling ratio to qualify for the main examination and interview would be a maximum of 1:25 and 1:3.
  • The final selection and ranking of the applicants for the post of Assistant Manager in Grade A (RDBS/Rajbhasha) will be based on their performance in the Phase 2 Main Examination and Interview, taken together.
