Check out the FCI Assistant Grade 3 Apply Online Steps:
1: Visit the official website of FCI.
2: On the homepage, go to the ‘Current Recruitment section'.
3: Click the link to apply against "FCI Assistant Grade 3 Application Link.".
4: After that, on a new page, click on the ‘Apply Online' link.
5: You will be navigated to another page where you can see the link ‘Click here for new registration', click on this link and fill in all the details that are asked. Once all the details are added, click on the ‘submit' option.
6: Now, log in and fill the application form. Fill in all the details carefully.
7: Upload the required documents in the prescribed format
8: Check the details and submit the application form..
9: Get the printouts of both e-receipt and online application form for future reference.
FCI Assistant Grade 3 Eligibility 2024

FCI Assistant Grade 3 Notification - Nationality
A candidate shall be:
- a Citizen of India, or
- a subject of Nepal, or
- a subject of Bhutan, or
- a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before the 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
- a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka and East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda and United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire and Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
FCI Assistant Grade 3 Age Limit
The candidates applying for the post must have attained the age of 18 years. The maximum age limit has been given below:
- For AG 3 (General, Accounts, Technical & Depot) - 27 Years
- For AG 3 (Hindi) - 28 Years

FCI Assistant Grade 3 Educational Qualification
As the vacancies have been released in various departments, the educational qualification required is also different. Check out the table below to know more:

| Assistant Grade-III (Hindi) | H | *Degree of a recognised University with Hindi as main subject. Proficiency in English specifically for the purpose of translation. Certificate/Diploma course in translation from English to Hindi and vice-versa of at least one year duration from a recognised University/Institution approved by Government.
Given the fact that the major work of Assistant Grade-III (Hindi) would be translation from English to Hindi and vice-versa, possession of Skill for Hindi Typing would also be required. To assess the same, Hindi Typing with speed of 30 words per minute will be tested during the period of probation. Confirmation of probation shall be subject to the candidate qualifying the prescribed Typing Test. |
*Hindi should be main subject in every year of graduation.
FCI Assistant Grade 3 Selection Process
The candidates will have to go through a selection process which will have two phases:
- Phase 1 (Common for all Posts)
- Phase 2 (Different for all Posts)
Phase 2 will be divided in two papers. Check out the table below to know which post will have Paper 1 only and which post will have both the papers in Phase 2.

FCI Assistant Grade 3 Phase 1 Exam Pattern
The online exam of Phase-I shall be common irrespective of the post. For each wrong answer, there will be negative marking of one fourth (1/4) of the mark assigned to that question. The test structure for Phase I Online exam is as follows.

Candidate should note that there will be negative marking of one fourth of the mark assigned to a question in Phase –II. If a question is left blank, i.e. no answer is marked by the candidate; there will be no negative marking for that question. Check out the pattern for Paper 1 below:

FCI Assistant Grade 3 Salary 2024
The salary of the aspirants for each zone will range between Rs. 28200 - Rs. 79200. The Pay Scale for FCI Assistant Grade III remains the same across every zone and every department.
