About EPFO Assistant Exam

The Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) is the regulatory body under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Labour and Employment, the Government of India that is responsible for the regulation and management of provident funds in India. The EPFO administers the compulsory provident fund for the Indian workforce. It also manages social security agreements with other countries. International workers are covered under EPFO plans in countries where bilateral agreements have been signed.

Age Criteria

• Minimum: 20 years
• Maximum: 27 years

Educational Qualifications

• Must possess Graduation Degree from a recognized University or equivalent.

EPFO Assistant Exam Pattern

The EPFO Assistant will be conducted in two phases namely Prelims (Phase 1), Mains (Phase 2).

EPFO Assistant Prelims Exam

Note

• Phase –I is qualifying in nature and marks will not be reckoned for final merit.
• For each wrong answer, there will be a negative marking of one-fourth of the mark assigned to that
• The candidates will be shortlisted for Phase-II in the ratio of 1:10 about 10 times the number of vacancies in each category on the basis of their performance in Phase
• If the examination is held in more than one session, the scores across various sessions will be equated following standard practice to adjust for slight differences in difficulty level of different test batteries used across.

EPFO Assistant Mains Exam

Note

• The marks obtained in Phase – II will be considered for the final selection
• For each wrong answer, there will be a negative marking of one-fourth of the mark assigned to that
• The descriptive paper will be completely online, i.e. the questions will be displayed on the screen and the candidates will have to type the answers using the keyboard.
• The descriptive paper will be conducted online immediately after completion of the online objective test of Phase-II Main.

Steps to Apply for EPFO Assistant Exam Online

• Go to the EPFO official website or click on the direct link provided below.
• Click on “Click here for Registration” and enter Name, Contact details and Email-id. A Provisional Registration Number and Password will be generated. An Email & SMS indicating the Provisional Registration number and Password will be sent to your email id and Mobile Number.
• Login and Fill rest of the details, upload images/signatures, documents, etc.
• Click on the Preview Tab to preview and verify the entire application form before FINAL
• Modify details, if required, and click on ‘FINAL SUBMIT’
• Click on the ‘Payment’ Tab and proceed for
