ECGC PO Recruitment 2023 - Notification

The ECGC released a short notification on 31st March 2023 for the selection of candidates for Probationary Officer level posts in its branches across the country. A detailed notification has now been released on the 19th of April 2023. The recruitment will be for Probationary Officers in the Specialist Cadre.

ECGC PO Recruitment 2023: Exam Pattern

ECGC PO Online Test

The ECGC PO Recruitment 2023 online test will include 5 sections- reasoning, English, computer knowledge, general awareness, and quantitative aptitude. The question-mark break-up is tabulated below.

ECGC PO Descriptive Exam

ECGC Recruitment 2023 also includes a descriptive section with 2 questions of 20 marks each. One is for essay writing and the other is for precis writing. This phase will test the candidate's writing and language abilities.

ECGC PO Recruitment 2023: Eligibility Criteria

The following is the eligibility criteria for ECGC PO Recruitment 2023:

Age Criteria

• Minimum: 21 years
• Maximum: 30 years

Note: A candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.04.1993 and not later than 01.04.2002

Educational Qualifications

A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a University recognized by the Govt. Of India or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.

The ECGC PO salary is based on the following pay scale:

The ECGC PO salary contains several other components such as DA, HRA, special allowances, etc. The ECGC PO salary also contains medical benefits and insurance cover. Any changes in the same will be updated as per the ECGC PO Recruitment 2023.

ECGC PO Recruitment 2023 | Cut-Off Scores

Each candidate will be required to obtain a minimum score in each test of the Online Examination and also a minimum total score to be considered to be shortlisted for an interview. Depending on the number of vacancies available, cut-offs will be decided and candidates will be shortlisted for interview. Prior to the completion of the interview process, scores obtained in the Online Examination will not be shared with the candidates shortlisted for interview

ECGC PO Recruitment 2023 | Exam Centres:

The details of Examination centres for ECGC PO Recruitment are as follows. All the exam centers will be as per the 2023 notification:

The online examination is usually conducted at 20 centers i.e. Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Pune, Indore, Nagpur, Kolkata, Varanasi, Bhubaneshwar, Raipur, Guwahati, Chennai, Coimbatore, Bangalore, Kochi, Hyderabad, Vizag, Delhi, Chandigarh, Kanpur and Jaipur.

Note: No request for change of centre for examination shall be entertained.

The Company, however, reserves the right to cancel any of the Examination Centers and/or add some other Centers, at its discretion, depending upon the response, administrative feasibility, etc.

The Company also reserves the right to allot the candidate to any centre other than the one he/she has opted for.

Candidate, will appear for the examination at an Examination Centre at his/her own risk and expenses and the Company will not be responsible for any injury or losses etc. of any nature.

Any unruly behavior/misbehavior in the examination hall may result in cancellation of candidature/disqualification from this exam and also from future examinations conducted by the Company.
