The TNUSRB SI 2022 notification has been released on 8 March 2022. The number of vacancies and exam date were announced along with the notification. TNUSRB SI Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who wish to join the Police Department of Tamil Nadu must meet eligibility requirements set by the authorities. The candidates must go through the eligibility criteria and prepare the documents accordingly. The eligibility criteria set by the examination Board is given below:

Nationality

The candidate must be an Indian citizen and a resident of Tamil Nadu.

Age

The candidates should be aware of the age requirements for the post of TN Sub-Inspector. The upper age limit relaxation is provided for the reserved categories. The relaxation for candidates is decided according to the rules and regulations of the Government. Candidates who wish to apply must meet the following Age requirements.

• The minimum age of the candidate should be 20 years.

TNUSRB SI Eligibility: Educational Qualification

The candidate must fulfil the educational requirement in order to take the TNUSRB SI recruitment examination. The educational qualification required is mentioned below:

• The candidate must be a graduate from a recognized government university or institute with a 10+2+3/4/5 pattern or 10+3+2/ 10+3+3+3 pattern in diploma courses.
• Candidates must have studied Tamil as a subject in Class 10 or 12.
• Candidates holding a degree from distance education/open universities/ colleges after completing SSLC and ITI in the 10+3+2 pattern too are eligible to apply for the recruitment.
• Candidates who have completed their graduation from an open university with a 10+2+3 pattern are not eligible for recruitment.
