SNAP Test is a mandatory test for pursuing an MBA program in various streams such as Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Information Technology, Digital Transformation, Infrastructure Development and Management, Business Analytics, International Business, Agri-Business, Energy and Environment, and many more in the SIU management schools. SNAP 2021 Entrance Exam: Important Points
The candidates can appear for the examination by making the payment of the registration fee of Rs. 1950/- per test. They can select the test date and test city as per their preference.
The candidate will be allotted Test City and Test Date as per the preference provided in the application form. The test center and address regarding the examination will be printed on the admit card.
The total duration of the exam is 60 minutes.
They are allowed to appear for the test a maximum of two times. The highest score of the two attempts will be considered for the calculation of the final percentile. The institute will calculate the marks without any normalization.
The Institute will ensure that every time different sets of questions are set for a specific topic. They will do this through the statistically tested process. There is also a normal spread to avoid unfair advantage to candidates for allocation of marks in any specific or multiple tests.
SNAP Test is an objective type of examination where each question has four options. The candidate should select the correct option. In case of selecting the wrong option, the candidate will be penalized with the negative marking of 25% of marks for the question.

The candidates who are shortlisted after the clearance of the SNAP Test will be required to appear for further admission tests of the respective Institutes for the specific MBA Program. The further admission process is termed GE-PIWAT that is based on the overall percentile received in SNAP Test. The cut-off for each program of respective Institutes is calculated separately based on which the candidate needs to appear for GE-PIWAT for each course individually.
The candidates should appear for all the components of GE-PIWAT to qualify for the PG program. The candidate who appears for all the components will be eligible for their name's presence in the merit/wait/ reject list. Therefore, the candidate who fails to appear for all the tests of GE-PIWAT will be considered ineligible for the admission process for any MBA Program of SIU.
