The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has now released the RBI Grade B Notification PDF to fill 94 vacant positions. The apply online link is now available on the RBI's official website at www.rbi.org.in till 16th August 2024 (6:00 PM). RBI Vacancy 2024 is released for Grade B Officer positions across three departments i.e. General, DEPR (Department of Economic and Policy Research), and DSIM (Department of Statistics and Information Management) departments.
The detailed RBI Grade B Notification 2024 PDF is out on July 25, 2024. Any graduate candidate aged between 21 and 30 years as of 1st July 2024 can apply for RBI Grade B 2024 exam. The Phase 1 exam is on 8th September 2024 and phase 2 exam is on 19th October 2024 for DR General. The selection process of RBI Grade B Officer includes a three-staged examination consisting of Prelims, Mains, and an Interview.

RBI Grade B Notification comes with the detailed RBI Grade B Eligibility. The candidates must be Indian citizens or a subject of Nepal/ Bhutan or a Tibetan refugee or an Indian origin person who have migrated from other countries to permanently settle in India if they want to apply for RBI Grade B 2024. The candidates must be aged between 21 and 30 years as of the reference date. This simply means that the candidates must not exceed the age limit of 30 years. A. Yes, the RBI Grade B exam will be conducted in 2024.
A. If you are a general category candidate, you have 6 attempts, whereas there is no bar on the number of attempts for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates. By 6 attempts, it means you should have taken the RBI Grade B Phase 1 exam 6 times. If you have already taken the RBI Grade B Phase 1 exam 6 times, then you are not eligible to apply.
A. Yes, there is negative marking in Phase 1 of the RBI Grade B exam. There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every incorrect answer in RBI Grade B Phase 1.
Expected Application fee for the RBI Grade B is as follows:
For GEN/OBC/EWSs - Rs 850 + 18% GST
For SC/ST/PwBD - Rs 100 + 18% GST
