Loco pilot is the short form for locomotive pilot and is considered to be the backbone of the Indian Railways. Usually two loco pilots drive a locomotive engine. The Indian Railways conducts RRB ALP examination to select loco pilots and technicians in Indian Railways. This section deals with the eligibility criteria of the RRB ALP exam.
RRB ALP Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for RRB ALP is based on three factors
- Age
- Educational Qualification
- Nationality

Age Limit
- Minimum: 18 years
- Maximum: 28 years
There is an Age Relaxation for the respective candidates as per the Government rules. The candidates claiming for age relaxation must have authentic documents in hand issued by the government or respected authority.

Educational Qualification

- CBT Stage I

- Computer Based Aptitude Test
