The National Law University, Delhi, will conduct the AILET 2022 on 1st May 2022. The application process began on 17th January and will continue till 7th April 2022. AILET Result: Admission
Admissions to the Law programs are granted on the basis of merit. The list of the shortlisted candidates will be prepared based on the performance of the candidate in both the entrance and the qualifying examination. The final merit list will be prepared by the Board after calculating the merit rank of the candidates according to the AILET and the qualifying exam.
AILET Result- Tie-Breaking Method
In case two or more candidates secure similar marks, the University ranks them on the merit list according to the following:
- Preference in ranking will be provided to the candidate who has a higher percentage of marks in the Bachelor's degree/ 12th examination.
- If the issue still remains, preference in ranking will be provided to the candidate who has a higher percentage of marks in the intermediate examination.
- If the tie still stands unresolved, the candidate older in age will be given the preference.
AILET Cut off
The cut off marks are the minimum marks secured by a candidate in the entrance examination. Candidates qualifying for the cut off will be shortlisted and called for the counselling session.

AILET Counselling
The date for AILET 2022 counselling date is yet to be announced by the authorities. Candidates qualifying for the cut off will be shortlisted and called for the counselling session. The candidates clearing the rounds of counselling will be eligible to take admission to the University.
Calculation of AILET Estimated Result
The marking scheme is mentioned below. Using the marking scheme, the candidates can calculate their scores.
- Each correct answer is awarded 1 mark.
- Negative marking is done. For each incorrect answer, 0.25 mark is deducted.
- By using this process, the candidates can also calculate their estimated scores.
