When a situation arises where two or more candidates secure exact marks, the Board will place them on the merit list based on the following criteria:
Tiebreaker for 3 Year LLB Course
- A candidate with a higher percentile in the Qualifying Examination (Graduation degree / Post-Graduation Degree) gets preference to a higher rank.
- A candidate with a higher aggregate of marks in 10 2 (HSC or equivalent examination) gets the higher rank on the merit list.
For 5 Year LLB Integrated Course
- A higher percentage in the qualifying examination (HSC or equivalent examination) ranks higher in the merit list.
- A higher percentage of marks for the First Language at the level of the HSC examination or examination that is equivalent gets preference.
- A higher percentage of marks in the SSC exam or an equivalent examination.
- A higher mark in the English exam at the level of the SSC examination or an examination that is equivalent gets preference.
