Academic Qualification:
The most important Eligibility Criteria for the Karnataka Administrative Services examination is Academic Qualification. For the various KPSC KAS examination positions, applicants must meet the minimum educational qualification requirements. The minimum educational requirement for KAS 2022 is a Bachelor's degree or a Master's degree, or an equivalent qualification degree from a renowned institution.
The individuals in their final year of graduation are also eligible to sit for the Karnataka Public Service Commission, KAS preliminary examination; however, they must submit proof of passing or their completion certificate for the Main exam.
Age Limit:
KPSC has set a certain age limit to apply for Karnataka Administrative Services (KAS) positions. As per the directives, the age limit of all the aspiring candidates should be between 21 to 35 years, i.e., the lower age limit to apply for KAS Exam is 21 years, and the upper age limit to apply for KAS Exam is 35 years.

Last year, KPSC announced a maximum of 5 attempts for the general category, 7 attempts for OBC and SC/ST categories were exempted from this eligibility criteria. But this year, there is no information regarding the maximum number of attempts allowed for various categories from KPSC. Experience:
As we know that positions for KPSC KAS are divided into two groups, namely Group A and Group B. To apply for the posts in Group A, candidates do not require any experience. However, a candidate applying for the posts of Group B must be an active probationer in any government department.

- The applicants who have not completed their internship but passed the final year exam during the KAS Main exam can appear for the exam.
- Candidates must also submit a copy of their final professional medical exam certificate from the institute they passed when submitting their application for the Main exam.

- Candidates are permanently barred from serving in any state civil service.

KPSC KAS 2022: Selection Process
To be considered for KAS positions, candidates must pass three stages: Preliminary Exam, Mains Exam, and an Interview.
