JKPSC KAS Notification 2022

The Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) published an official announcement on its website on April 19, 2022. It invited online applications from suitable candidates for 220 Junior Scale jobs, of which 100 are for J&K Administrative Service, 70 are for J&K Accounts (G) Service, and 50 are for J&K Police (G) Service. Eligibility Criteria

Domicile:

The candidate must be a domicile of UT of J&K.

Educational Qualification

The JKPSC began accepting online applications on 25th April and will continue to do so until 15th May 2022. Candidates who are interested in applying for the JKPSC can do so by clicking the online link available on JKPSC's official website, as the application process is only online.   • Visit the official website of JKPSC.
  • Go to the home page's Recruitment section and select the 'Job/Application tab.'
  • Select 'Signup' after clicking on the Combined Competitive Preliminary.
  • After you have completed all of the fields, click the submit button. Your account will be created, and you will receive login information to your registered email address.
  • Log in with the same credentials, fill out the application form with the required information, and upload the required documents and photographs.
  • Get directed to a Payment Window and pay your Application Fee through net banking, credit/debit card, or bank challan.
  • Check all of your information again, then click the Final Submission button.
  • Print a copy of the JKPSC KAS application form for future use.

Application Fee

Candidates must pay the application fee along with their online forms between 25th April 2022 to 15th May 2022. The JKPSC will reject the application forms without a fee. The application fee varies based on the categories listed below.

  • PWD Category: Exempted

Application Form Correction 

Candidates who have successfully submitted their online application forms along with the requisite application fees will get the chance to edit a few fields in the application forms. Interview (Personality Test)

A panel of Commission members will question the candidates on areas of general interest during the interview round. The purpose of the interview is to evaluate the candidate's suitability for a career in J&K public services.

Marking Scheme

While the prelims exam consists of computer-based MCQs, the main exam is subjective. The prelims will have negative markings. The English paper will be of Matriculation or similar standard and qualifying type. Only Paper I-VII scores will be used to determine the candidates' merit ranking. 

Admit Card 

Qualified candidates will receive their JKPSC admit cards for both the preliminary and main examinations a few weeks before each exam.

Cutoff and Result 

The JKPSC will compile cut-off lists and results after each exam, as well as a final cut-off list and result. It will generate the cut-off list based on the scores, exam complexity, and equated scores.
