Application Fee

A panel of Commission members will question the candidates on areas of general interest during the interview round. The purpose of the interview is to evaluate the candidate's suitability for a career in J&K public services.
While the prelims exam consists of computer-based MCQs, the main exam is subjective. The prelims will have negative markings. The English paper will be of Matriculation or similar standard and qualifying type. Only Paper I-VII scores will be used to determine the candidates' merit ranking.
Qualified candidates will receive their JKPSC admit cards for both the preliminary and main examinations a few weeks before each exam.
The JKPSC will compile cut-off lists and results after each exam, as well as a final cut-off list and result.
