JKPSC KAS exam is conducted for the recruitment of candidates for the posts of J & K Administrative Service(Junior Scale), Police Service, and Accounts Service in the union territory of J&K. JKPSC has released 220 vacancies for the year 2022. In this section, we are going to present the JKSPC KAS Exam Pattern which will be beneficial for the aspirants in their exam preparation.
JKPSC KAS exam has three stages, therefore, the exam pattern for each stage varies with one another. You can check out the JKPSC exam pattern for the Prelims & Mains exam below.
JKPSC Prelims Exam is the first stage for the JKPSC selection process. Candidates securing minimum cutoff marks in the Prelims Exam of JKPSC KAS 2022 will be called to appear for the Mains Exam. The JKPSC KAS Prelims Exam will have two papers: General Studies Paper- I and General Studies Paper-II.

The candidates who obtain the cutoff marks in the JKPSC CCE Prelims Exam will be called to appear for the JKPSC Mains Exam. The qualified candidates of the Prelims Exam will be issued an application form that they will have to fill up within the required time decided by the Commission.

The candidates can choose the following exam centres within the UT of J&K

General – INR 1000
Reserved/PHC – INR 500
The last date to fill up the application form is May 15 2022.
The duration of Paper-I and Paper-II is 2 hours each. Therefore, candidates must complete their exams within this time frame.
There are three stages i.e. Prelims, Mains and Interview.
The JKPSC KAS application process will start on 25th April 2022.
The candidates are required to fulfill the age limit, domicile and qualification. Candidates willing to apply for JKPSC KAS must be a domicile of Jammu and Kashmir, have passed Graduation, and must not be over the age of 32 years.
