A person will fall in the category of Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (Divyangjan) if the person has any one or more of the following:
- Blindness in one eye
- Cerebral palsy
- Dwarfism
- Hard of hearing
- Leprosy
- Locomotor disability in one arm
- Locomotor disability in one arm and one leg
- Locomotor disability in one leg
- Low vision
- Victim of acid attack
The Recruitment Notification clearly states that:
- The number of vacancies that have been announced is tentative and can be revised.
- Persons appearing for matriculation on the closing date of application are not eligible to apply.
- Persons awaiting matriculation results on the closing date of application are not eligible to apply.
ICAR IARI Technician Vacancy: Specific Instructions
In case of the vacancies reserved for candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes category, the reservation will be done on the basis of directives provided by the Government of India.
In case of the vacancies reserved for Other Backward Class – Non-creamy Layer (OBC-NCL), the candidates need to have the OBC-NCL Certificate and in the exact format as prescribed in the Recruitment Notification's Annexure - V, and issued on 01-01-2020 or later by a competent authority.
In the case of the vacancies reserved for the Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) category, candidates will have to furnish an Income and Asset Certificate that has been issued by some Competent Authority.
In the case of the vacancies reserved for Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD), the candidate's disability should not be less than 40%.
