UPSC has a predefined age limit for candidates who want to apply for the UPSC CSE 2023 exam. The age limit must be calculated as of the 1st of August, 2023

The UPSC has mentioned age relaxation for the candidates applying for the UPSC CSE 20223 exam. UPSC age relaxation for the general category is not applicable, however, the UPSC age relaxation for SC/ST, OBC, Defence Personnel, ex-servicemen, and others is mentioned below.

The UPSC CSE Educational Qualification states that the candidates applying for the UPSC Civil Services Examination must have a graduation degree from a govt. recognized university. The educational qualification is not limited to any particular stream.
Candidates who are pursuing graduation and are waiting for their final results can also apply, but only on the condition that the result should be declared before filling out the application for the UPSC Mains 2023 exam. Also, candidates who have appeared for degrees such as MBBS, ICSI, ICAI, and ICWAI and are awaiting results can apply, but they need to provide proof of qualifying for the degree.
The candidates who wish to appear in the UPSC civil services examination 2023 should be a:
Minimum age 21 years and Maximum age 32 years. Age relaxation for other categories is applicable.
Male candidates from General and OBC categories need to pay Rs.100, while candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD & Female candidates are exempted from paying the UPSC application fee.
UPSC CSE Notification 2023 was released on 1st February 2023.
UPSC Mains 2023 will be conducted from 15th to 19th September 2023.
