The RBI Grade B Phase 1 and Phase 2 exam dates are expected to be released soon along with the official notification PDF by the Reserve Bank of India.

Usually, the Phase 1 exam is conducted within 60 days from the date of the notification release. The Phase 2 exam is generally held about 30 days after the Phase 1 exam.

RBI Grade B Admit Card 2026

 

The RBI Grade B Admit Card 2026 will be released online for Phase 1 and Phase 2 examinations. Candidates can download their admit cards from the official website of the Reserve Bank of India by entering their registration number and password/date of birth. As per the usual pattern, the admit card for Phase 1 and Phase 2 is released approximately one week before the respective exam dates. Only the Interview Call Letter is sent to the candidate's registered email ID.

 

What is the RBI Grade B phase 1 exam pattern?

 

The RBI Grade B Phase 1 exam is conducted online by the Reserve Bank of India as a computer-based test. It includes multiple-choice questions (MCQs) from four sections: Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, English Language, and General Awareness. For every wrong answer, 0.25 marks are deducted as negative marking.

The question paper is available in both Hindi and English, except for the English Language section, which is only in English. To move to Phase 2, candidates must clear both the overall cut-off and the sectional cut-offs. If there is any change in the exam pattern, it will be officially announced in the notification PDF.

The RBI Grade B Phase 2 exam is conducted online, with objective answers selected on-screen and descriptive answers typed using a keyboard. The exam will be for a total of 300 marks, with negative marking of 0.25 for 1-mark questions and 0.5 for 2-mark questions. It will be provided in both Hindi and English, except for the English paper, which is only in English.
