Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board (MPPEB) has postponed the written exam and announced the new MP Police constable exam date as 8th January 2022 on their official website peb.mp.gov.in. The announcement came as a public notification for the recruitment of 4000 Constable (Radio) and Constable (GD) posts. The online exam will now be conducted on 8th January 2022.

The MP Police Constable exam on 8th January 2022 will be held in two shifts —Shift 1 will be held from 9 am to 11 am and Shift 2 will conclude between 3 pm to 5 pm.

Why the Exam Got Postponed?

To begin with, the last date to apply for the post was also extended due to technical issues on the online application portal. As per the department and quote “Software for uploading EWS, Class 10 and Class 12 certificates was not available in the online applications. To remove this problem, the application process had been postponed”. As a result, the last date to apply online for the post was moved to 11th Feb 2021 from Jan 31st 2021.

This delay in filling of application form has eventually affected the exam date and other timelines related to it. 

Also due to COVID-19 cases rising the exam was further postponed.
