- Current events of national and international importance.
- History of India and Indian National Movement.
- Indian and World Geography- Physical, Social and Economic.
- Indian Polity and Governance- Constitution, Political System, Panchayati Raj, Public Policy, Rights issues etc.
- J&K Reorganization Act, 2019 and Removal of difficulties Order/Adaptation Orders issued thereunder.
- Economic and Social Development- Sustainable Development, Poverty, Inclusion, Demographics, Social Sector Initiatives, etc.
- General issues on Environmental ecology, Bio-diversity and Climate Change.
- General English.
- Interpersonal skills including communication skills.
- General Science.
- Basics of Computer and its usages- various facets of Computer Hardware, Software, Internet and their usage.
- General mental ability.
- Logical Reasoning & Analytical Ability

JK Police SI Selection Process
The JK Police SI selection process consists of 4 stages which are as follows:
- Written Examination (Objective, MCQ)
- Physical Standards
- Physical Endurance Test
- Medical Examination
JK Police SI Exam Pattern
The JK Police SI exam consists of 150 marks covering 120 questions, the question will be objective type MCQs.The total duration of the exam will be 120 minutes or 2 hours. There will be a negative marking of 0.25 for each wrong answer. The number scored in this exam will be considered for preparation of the final selection sheet and also JK Police SI Cut-off.
