Steps to apply for ICAR IARI Assistant 2024
- Visit the official website. Scroll down to find the application link or click on the direct link given above
- Registration: Sign-up by Post Applied, Candidate Name, Mobile No. and E-mail ID and receive User ID and password
- After registration and login, you can click on the "Click here to Fill Application Form" icon at the top right corner, select your category and other mandatory details, and complete Personal Details, Qualification Details,
- Upload photo/signature, and other documents
- Submit Fees through Online mode via Debit card, Credit cards, or Internet Banking through SBI MOPS

- The photography should be up to 50-80 kb in jpg/ jpeg format only
- The signature should be up to 100 kb in Jpg/jpeg format only
- The Matriculation (Class Xth )/Graduation Certificate should be upto 1000 kb in Jpg/Jpeg/PDF format only.

ICAR IARI Assistant Notification 2024 - Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria as an Assistant in ICAR IARI Assistant Recruitment 2024 is given below.
Age Limit
- The minimum age limit is 20 years as of the reference date.
- The maximum age limit is 30 years as of the reference date.
- The maximum age limit for Serving regular employees of ICAR is 45 years as of the reference date.

ICAR IARI Assistant Notification 2024 - Selection Process
To get selected as ICAR IARI Assistant, candidates have to get qualified in 3 stages :
- Stage 1 : Preliminary
- Stage 2 : Mains
- Stage 3 : Skill Test (Computer Proficiency Test)
ICAR IARI Assistant Notification 2024 - Exam Pattern
The Preliminary Exam and Paper I of the Main Examination will be conducted in online mode and Paper II of the Main examination will be conducted in offline mode. Check out the detailed exam pattern for both the stages below:

In Preliminary Examination, there will be negative marking of 1/3rdfor each wrong answer. The exam pattern of the ICAR IARI Assistant Preliminary Exam is as follows :

ICAR IARI Assistant Notification 2024 - Skill Test
- The Computer Proficiency Test (CPT) will be held, comprising of three modules: (i) Word Processing, (ii) Spread Sheet and (iii) Generation of Slides.
- Duration of each module will be 15 minutes. These modules will be conducted one after the other.
- The CPT will be conducted in the manner decided by the ICAR for the purpose. CPT is qualifying in nature and qualifying in all the three Modules will be mandatory.
- No exemption from CPT is allowed for any category of PwD candidates. PwD candidates who are eligible for scribes as per the instructions of the Examination will be allowed additional compensatory time of 5 (five) minutes in CPT. Only those VH candidates who opt for scribes in the written examination will be provided passage reader at the time of CPT.
- Detailed instructions regarding CPT will be provided by IARI to the eligible candidates.
