The Central Board of Secondary Education will conduct the 16th edition of Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) in CBT (Computer Based Test) mode in December 2022(exact date will be intimated on the admit card of the candidate).
The candidates need to carry certain documents like valid photo identity proof and its photocopy, two recent passport size photographs and admit card at the exam centre. The photograph must match the photo uploaded during the application process. These documents carried by the candidates will be verified by the invigilator present at the exam centre. After successful verification of documents candidates will be allowed entry into the exam hall. Candidates can bring any one of the following documents as photo identity proof.

Common Teacher Eligibility Test will be conducted in the following cities and the candidates have to make a choice for 4 exam centres at the time of registration from the below list. The first preference will be given to the chosen exam centre, in case of unavailability the CBSE can allot any exam centre.

CBSE released the CTET notification in the month of September 2021 for the recruitments of teachers in primary and upper primary level. The exam is scheduled to take place on 16th Dec 2021 to 13th January 2022. There will 2 papers for the candidates appearing in the CTET exam. Paper 1 will be for the aspirants wanting to become the teacher for Class I to V and paper 2 will be for the aspirants wanting to teach the Classes Vi to VIII. Aspirants who want to be eligible for both the primary and upper primary sections, need to clear both the papers. The e-Admit Cards of candidates (who have paid the fees) and allotted examination dates during 16th – 31st December 2021 have been uploaded on the CTET website https://ctet.nic.in/.
The e-Admit Cards of candidates (who have paid the fees) and allotted examination dates during 16th – 31st December 2021 have been uploaded on the CTET website https://ctet.nic.in/. The admit cards for the candidates who have been allotted dates of examination during 01st – 13th January 2022 will be uploaded in due course of time.
The admit cards for all candidates will be uploaded in two phases. The first phase of admit cards will contain the information of the City and Date of Examination to enable the candidate(s) to make plan accordingly. The second phase of admit cards with information of examination centre and shift of examination will be available on the website 02 days before the examination. The candidates are advised to download their e-admit card of first phase and the second phase from above website.

The application fees is as follows:
For Either Paper 1 or Paper 2
General Category – ₹1000 and SC/ST/differently-abled person – ₹500
For Both Paper 1&2
General Category – ₹1200 and SC/ST/differently-abled person – ₹600
The candidates applying for CTET are required to appear for 2 exams - Paper 1 & Paper 2
