The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) (लोक सेवा आयोग, उत्तर प्रदेश) is the state agency authorized to conduct the Civil Services Examination for entry-level appointments to the various Group A and Group B Civil Services of Uttar Pradesh. The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) came into existence on 1 April 1937, with the main aim of recruiting candidates to various services in the state. The UPPSC had notified the details of the recruitment for the UPPSC RO ARO vacancies. The UPPSC will conduct the UPPSC RO ARO Exam for Samiksha Adhikari and Sahayak Samiksha Adhikari. The UPPSC RO ARO Exam Dates have also been announced. The Prelims exam is set for 5th December and the Mains exam for 10th April 2022.

The UPPSC will hold a preliminary exam and the main examination for the positions of the Samiksha Adhikari, i.e., RO and Sahayak Samiksha Adhikari, i.e., ARO. The preliminary test is only for the purpose of qualification. Those who pass the preliminary exam advance to the final examination.
Candidates who clear the preliminary stage shall be required to fill out a new application form to sit for the main examination. The finalization will be made based on merit, which will be calculated based on the candidates’ total marks in the written Mains Test.

For the UPPSC RO and ARO interview, no set curriculum is defined. Candidates who pass the preliminary and main exams will be invited for a personal interview. A candidate’s practical knowledge and skills are assessed during the personal interview round. You can anticipate questions depending on the various skills required for your work. For the personal interview, the candidate must prepare the current events as well.
The Admit Card will be released on the official website of UPPSC after all the applications have been considered and accepted. Any information regarding the admit card will not be delivered personally to the applicants. The applicants shall check the website for the same. The UPPSC will not send the admit cards personally sent to the applicants. They can download the admit card from the official website.
The UPPSC RO ARO cutoff will be announced for both – preliminary and mains examinations. After the preliminary examinations, the initial cut-off shall be announced, and those who pass it will be eligible for the mains. The merit list (category-wise) of the shortlisted students would be revealed after the mains exams, besides their mains examination marks. The final selection shall be based only on the results of the written mains examination. After the exams, the UPPSC RO and ARO cut-off list would be posted on the website.

After the relevant examinations have been successfully performed, the answer key will be released for the prelims and mains examinations. The UPPSC RO ARO Prelims exam will consist of two papers, whereas the UPPSC RO ARO Mains exam will consist of three papers. In the Mains test, there is an additional paper for Samiksha Adhikari (Hindi & Urdu).
The UPPSC RO ARO preliminary test carries a total of 200 marks (Paper 1-140 marks and Paper 2-60 marks). The UPPSC RO ARO mains exam is worth 400 points (Paper 1 – 120 points, Paper 2 – 160 points, Paper 3 – 120 points) and an additional 100-point paper for Samiksha Adhikari (Hindi & Urdu).
