The commission has declared the eligibility criteria for UPPSC PCS Exam – 2021 in its official notification. All applicants must check the eligibility criteria before applying for the exam. The UPPSC eligibility criteria include a limitation on age and educational qualification. Applicants may check the eligibility details in the following table.
To be eligible for the UP PCS Exam 2021, applicants must be 21 years to 40 years old as of 1st July 2021. This age limit is only for General Category applicants and reserved categories; the age relaxation is as per rules, which we have mentioned in the following table.

UPPSC PCS Prelims Exam will have two objective question papers. The negative marking scheme will apply to both of these papers. 1/3rd mark will be deducted for every wrong response in the Prelims exams. Paper-2 is qualifying in nature with 33% pass criteria.

The commission will conduct mains exam within a week in two shifts:
The commission will call the applicants who will clear the mains exam for the interview. They will test the mental, academic, general awareness, aptitude, conversational skills, personality, and suitability of the applicants for the PCS posts in the interview. They will release the final merit list after the interview based on cumulative scores of all three exams.

UPPSC has uploaded the admit cards of all the eligible applicants on its official web portal. We recommend all aspirants visit the official site and download their admit cards from there. They need a hard copy of the admit card and ID proof for identification at the time of prelims and mains exams. If any applicant fails to show any of these two, the commission will not allow that applicant to appear for the exam. Applicants must also ensure that the details mentioned on the admit card are accurate. If there is any discrepancy, applicants must correct that as soon as possible.
To appear in UP PCS Exam, all applicants must possess the following documents:

The commission has released the cut-off for the UPPSCS PCS 2019 & 2020 exams. It releases the cut-off list along with the result so that applicants know whether they have cleared the exam. Applicants may see the previous year’s cut-offs and set their targets accordingly.
After completing all three stages of the UPPSC PCS Exam, the commission will declare the final result based on the applicant’s marks scored in the exams.
