Written exam
The Rajasthan Patwari Exam is conducted offline and consists of objective-type questions. The duration of the exam is 3 hours. It is a 300 marks exam comprising 150 questions of two marks each. Two marks are allotted for every correct answer, and a negative marking of 1/3 marks is also done for every incorrect answer.

The candidates selected for the post of Rajasthan Patwari are also provided 6 months of training. During the probation period, the candidates are paid a fixed remuneration.
