The Delhi Police Head Constable (AWO/TPO) 2025 exam, conducted by the Staff Selection Commission, the notification is expected to be released in July to September, 2025. Written Test (CBT Computer Based Test)

 

The written test consists of objective-type questions conducted online, with subjects like General Awareness, General Science, Mathematics, Reasoning, and Computer Fundamentals. The candidates will be tested on their general knowledge of India and the world, basic scientific concepts, mathematical concepts, logical reasoning skills, and basic computer knowledge.

Physical Endurance & Measurement Test (PE&MT)

 

Candidates who clear the written test will proceed to the Physical Endurance & Measurement Test (PE&MT), which includes physical tasks like running, long jump, and high jump. Male and female candidates will have different physical standards for the endurance test, which include varying race timings and jump distances based on age groups.

The written exam consists of 100 questions, divided into five sections:

Delhi Police Head Constable (AWO/TPO) Physical Test 

 

Candidates who qualify the Written Exam (CBT) will undergo the Physical Endurance & Measurement Test (PE&MT). The standards for the Physical Endurance Test (PET) and Physical Measurement Test (PMT) are as follows:

Physical Endurance Test (PET)

 

A) Male Candidates:

The Physical Endurance Test for male candidates (including ex-servicemen and departmental candidates) is as follows:

Note: Candidates who qualify the race will be eligible for the Long Jump and then the High Jump. Long Jump and High Jump must be cleared within three attempts. There will be no appeal against disqualification in race, long jump, and high jump.

B) Female Candidates:

The Physical Endurance Test for female candidates (including departmental candidates and widow/divorced/judicially separated women candidates) is as follows:

  • Note 1: Candidates who qualify the race will be eligible for the Long Jump and then the High Jump. Both the Long Jump and High Jump must be cleared in one of the three chances provided.
  • Note 2: Female candidates who are pregnant, have recently given birth, or have suffered a miscarriage at the time of PE&MT will be temporarily unfit for the test. They will be re-examined six weeks after the confinement period, provided they submit a medical certificate from a registered medical practitioner.

Physical Measurement Test (PMT)

 

The Physical Measurement Test (PMT) is applicable only to candidates who successfully pass the Physical Endurance Test (PET).

Medical Standards

 

The candidates must meet the following medical standards:

  • Health: Candidates should be of sound health, free from disease, defects, or deformities.
  • Eyesight:

  • Candidates should not have color blindness.
