RRB NTPC Eligibility Criteria 2025, Know Age Limit and Medical Standards

The Railway Recruitment Board recruits candidates for the NTPC posts based on three main factors - age limit, educational qualification, and nationality. The age limit to appear for the RRB NTPC undergraduate posts is 18 - 33. On the other hand, the graduate posts require candidates to be within the age group of 18 - 36. RRB NTPC Eligibility 2025

 

To appear for the RRB NTPC undergraduate posts, candidates must have completed their Class 12 from a recognised board. Whereas the graduate posts require a university degree from a recognised institution. Applicants who have applied for roles such as Senior Time Keeper, Junior Account Assistant cum Typist, will also have to appear for a typing test. The typing test will be conducted for 10 minutes, during which the board will determine the candidate's typing skill and efficiency in both Hindi and English.

RRB NTPC educational qualification differs for undergraduate and graduate level posts. RRB NTPC Typing Proficiency Test 2025

 

Candidates who have applied for positions such as Senior Time Keeper, Junior Account Assistant cum Typist, and Senior Clerk cum Typist will have to undertake a typing proficiency test. The details of the typing test are given below:

  • The duration of the test is 10 minutes.
  • All candidates have to maintain a typing speed of 30 words per minute in English.
  • Applicants will also have to maintain a typing speed of 25 words per minute in Hindi.
  • Candidates will have to take the test on a computer that does not have any editing or spelling check features.

 

What are the RRB NTPC Medical Standard 2025?

 

The RRB NTPC Medical Standard 2025 evaluates candidates based on physical stamina, strength, distance vision, near vision, and more. Every candidate will have to appear for the medical test conducted by the board. The medical test is conducted to test the suitability of candidates for a particular post. RRB NTPC Nationality 2025

 

The RRB NTPC nationality criteria for students are given below:

  • Candidates must be citizens of India
  • Applicants who have Bhutan or Nepal citizenship are also eligible.
  • Tibetan refugees who have been staying in India since January 1, 1962, with plans to settle down here, can also apply.
  • Applicants of Indian origin who have arrived from Burma, Pakistan, East African countries of Uganda, Kenya, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Malawi, Zambia, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam to settle here are also eligible to apply.
